Settling into a Routine
It’s exciting to say we have been open now for two weeks! As with any new business, it’s hard to know what to expect, I have been pleased with the steady flow of customers each day. My first customer bought a baby quilt I had in my window display.
I enjoy visiting with the different people who come to shop. Many quilters have stopped by and it’s fun to talk shop but they are disappointed I don’t sell fabric. Even with it so early in the summer season, I have already had guests visit from far and wide, including visitors from England and France.
Some have asked if I will still have time to sew while opening this store.
…and the answer is YES! My studio is wonderful and I have already been working on multiple projects since opening. I’m working on a new baby quilt now.
