2022 Christmas Message
During the holiday season, I find myself reflecting with thankfulness to all our summer visitors. Our first year in business was a success thanks to you!
Throughout the season I have had delightful conversations with visitors who walked through my doors. Some of you were first-time visitors to Door County and I got to share the best places to visit, see a show, or eat. While other returning visitors we swapped stories and shared memories from past visits over the years.
Many fellow quilters stopped by as well, each disappointed I had already done the work of quilting and didn’t have fabric for them to create their own projects. Even without fabric to share, we were able to have delightful conversations about quilting techniques, favorite patterns, and passion for the art.
The cold winter months in central Illinois won’t bother me as I’ll be busy creating quilts, table runners, and other items to fill the shop next year.
I look forward to continuing to greet new and returning Sister Bay visitors next summer. See you in 2023.
