Find Out Where We Moved!
I was sure glad the weather in Sister Bay in late December was above freezing and there was no ice or snow. The moving day for Twice the Quilt and More was December 28.
You won’t find us across from the park anymore. Look for us when you buy your groceries at the Piggly Wiggly or pick up medicine at Hometown Pharmacy.
We have moved to Country Walk Shops!
A huge thanks goes out to my moving crew, My daughter, and her family.
The three teenagers were fantastic at carrying furniture and boxes to their father who was packing the U-Haul truck.
I directed traffic, but it was easy to know when everything was loaded- the store was empty.
A quick unload in uptown Sister Bay went smoothly too. We were glad that it was faster to unload than it was to load. Three hours and the task was completed.
A celebration lunch for the crew followed at Al Johnson’s complete with a lingonberry lemonade and desserts all around.
Saturday was the day to get settled in the new space. Curtain rods were hung, new shelving was assembled, and the design wall was installed.
It’s looking good. It will be fun to hang the new quilts and table runners on the rods or racks and place the other items under the new lights to show them off.
